At King David Schools we endeavour at all times to offer our students the best sporting opportunities possible. We make it our business to fulfil our role in the education of the child through effective, well-rounded physical education, building self-esteem and confidence suitable to the individual.

Our nursery school and primary school children enjoy mandatory PT lessons once a week during school hours, where they enjoy a well-rounded summer and winter sports programme. Our voluntary after school sport programmes across the schools are varied and play a major role in the lives of our students.  King David Linksfield has a wellness centre offering all aspects of physiotherapy, rehabilitation, dietetics and podiatry.

The core sports of cricket, soccer and netball are offered along with aquatic sports like swimming and water polo.  Rugby, golf, basketball, touch rugby, cycling, girls soccer and squash are also on offer. Highly qualified teams of coaches guide and lead the various sport disciplines.

Holistically, King David Schools adopts a wellness approach, offering some form of physical activity on a daily basis for all pupils and in addition, offering a healthy lifestyle.

We encourage mass participation among all the schools and strive for excellence in our results. We expect our learners and coaching staff to be proud of their appearance and school in competition and practice, always displaying positive sportsmanship.

Our aim is to create a positive synergy with our learners, coaching staff and parents to ensure that we offer the best possible representation of King David Schools. Team work is a vital component of making this a continued reality.
